1. How long before I can get FOLIOePRESS installed?

1. How long before I can get FOLIOePRESS installed? |

If you want to keep the theme as it is, you can have everything installed and working in 48 hours. If you want to have it customized, that will take around a week.

2. Why is it sold as a Pack with a monthly fee? |

We are very committed to our work and we want to work with customers who have serious projects, and who are equally committed to the online services they are going to be providing.We give them immediate attention and problem solving. In order to do this, we need to have total access to and full knowledge of the server, machines configuration, etc. We would not be able to offer this service if we depended on third parties servers and had to wait for their answers before we could actually help our customers.

3. Can your servers support the visits my publication is going to get? |

Yes. We have high ouput machines. State-of-the-art Power Dell. For our Spanish clients, the machines are located in the best DataCenter available in the country, called ACENS in Fuenlabrada (Madrid). For Europe, our machines are in London ZOOM, and we have to datacenters in USA (East and West Coast) by ZOOM. With technology by Intel, Cisco, Juniper, etc. We also have a datacenter in Melbourne, Australia, and in Hong Kong for Asia.

4. I already have a digital magazine. Can I take it to FOLIOePRESS? |

In principle, yes, but we would need to check on this, depending on how your magazine is made. If you want to keep the former contents, it would be complicated. We cannot give a definite answer in these cases until we have studied each particular case. Please contact us and ask us about this before you purchase.

5. I already have a domain and hosting. Can I install FOLIOePRESS? |

Yes, but we'll do the installation. Choose PURCHASE SOFTWARE.

6. I publish a newspaper at a national level, so I can expect my digital edition to get thousands or even hundred thousands visits. Can I use FOLIOePRESS? Are your servers prepared for this? |

Of course they are. FOLIOePRESS and our machines are prepared for this. File transfers capacity is under our constant surveillance, as well as visits to the server, visits peaks, etc. Should your publication exceed our shared hosting standards, we will take it to a semi-dedicated machine. If this was not enough, we will take it to server (or several) to discriminate access.
If you expect your project to get such numerous visits from the start, this will be taken into account from the moment we begin to develop. This can be applied to tv and radio stations, national press media, etc). Talk to us if this is your case.

7. If I have any issues with the software or I simply need help, do I get technical support? |

Absolutely. You have an advance ticket support system where you can send all your questions or problems to our technical support department. All tickets are answered immediately and accurately.
Nevertheless, we assure you that operational problems are almost nonexistent. All applications have been developed by ourselves, and therefore, we have tested them in great depth and we know they do not fail. However, perfection does not exist and an error may occur. Our technical support team will help you immediately, also when you have any doubt on how to use it.
You can also purchase an extra support service for your writers/contributors.

8. I know exactly the type of design I want for my digital publication, and it is different from FOLIOePRESS designs. What can you do about this? |

The best thing to do in these cases is for you to roughly write down your idea together with a quick sketch of the design. Our software is totally adaptable. This is always done after an estimate. Please contact us to send us your idea and to get an estimate.

9. I need extra content sections to add more info on my services, fees, my editorial office, etc. How can I have them? |

You only need to tell us how many sections you want. You will be asked about this during the purchase process.

10. Can I manage all of my advertising through Open X? |
| |
Yes. You can create advertising zones inside OpenX and inside FOLIOePRESS. You only need to do this once. Then, you have to enter the html code given to you by OpenX. We recommend you use the OpenX version which is available online. This way, it is not necessary to add extra installations into your hosting, configurations, etc. It will also take less space of your disk.

11. There are many writers in my staff. Is there a limit to the number of writers I can register? |

In principle, the program is planned for a maximum of 10 writers/contributors. If you need more, just ask us.

12. We are a local tv channel and we already have a video streaming. Can it be integrated with FOLIOePRESS? |

Yes, but we will have to modify a few parameters, in order to adapt it and to integrate streaming into the code. Please ask us before you purchase.

13. We are journalists and we do not have any designers who can make the banners, can you do that? |

We cannot. But our sister company FOLIOGEN (Online Advertising Agency) can do it for you.

14. I need to publish in several languages, will I have any trouble with the translations? |
| |
No. FOLIOePRESS es 100% multilanguage, but you do not need to translate every item of news. So you can publish different pieces of news in each language. Even the frontpages and the ads can be different. But you will have to configurate the advertising zones and languages for each zone. You can do the translations of the software from the TRANSLATIONS section, from where you can also customize the fixed texts (buttons, etc.)
